Black Velvet Magazine Review

MelonFarmer pride themselves on giving an energy filled performance at their live shows. As yet the band are unsigned, but it is unlikely they will remain that way for long. One of the most outstanding tracks on this four track CD is 'Are You For Real?' a punk edged rock ballad, which rises and falls like an emotional rollercoaster. This band are powerful and funky. There are elements of Green Day and similar American bands within their sound, but with one important ingredient; a finely crafted British raw appeal that many bands lose along the way through an over produced sound. Look out for this band; they are on their way to the top.
